【Lottery Draw】Introduction of Vincent 7th color "Dreamy Rainbow (Blue G.I.D)"【Registration closes on 5th June】

We are delighted to present the 7th new color of Vincent vs. LIQUID 『Dreamy Rainbow(Blue G.I.D)』.
We want to express our gratitude to all our loyal customers so far. The Vincent series was started in 2013 and we have now reached the 7th iteration, in a completely new colorway. Out of all the original figures we have produced, this is the biggest and also the most expensive. Yet every edition of the lottery draws receives many applications from lots of customers from Japan, as well as the rest of the world.
During the 4-day Thailand Toy Expo 2016 from 5th to 8th May, we released the figure for the first time at our booth. There was a long queue on the very first day, and it was sold out just minutes after opening. This was an extremely successful product launch.
The 7th colorway is brand new, and was designed with a rainbow gradation. It is a very simple concept based on the 7 colors of the rainbow. This Vincent measures 340mm long, and has a rainbow coating on the whole body. A secondary coat of fluorescent color was applied, making the coloration very brilliant.
We used a crystal-cut metallic pearl plastic eyestone for Vincent’s two eyes, and the eyes of the 14 erosion Liquid monsters on the body (28 pcs). We coated each of its teeth with different colors by hand, in order to make it『COLORFUL』.
In particular, we used a special color for the figure’s throat and underbelly. We layered a blue phosphorescent coating on these parts of the figure’s body, which allows it to emit a strange glow that can clearly be seen in the dark, and contrasts with the rest of the body. We hope that you will enjoy the special effect.
This colorway is a very striking addition to the Vincent series!! !!
This last section will explain the reasoning behind the price revision. The colorway this time is the most colorful in the series, and so the price was supposed to be higher because of the additional processes involved in its production, as well as the additional cost of using a G.I.D basic body. However, in this year (2016), we changed the packaging for the item and successfully reduced some costs this way. So we ended up setting the price at 25,000 yen.

※We are unable to confirm the official release date for the Clear Rainbow (Made in Japan) ver. (on the left) that we sold in TTE 2016, because the Japanese factory is very busy right now. In addition, due to technological constraints for mass production and productions costs, we have had to ask a Chinese factory to work on the rainbow coat. Therefore, the production time for this figure is longer than usual. The official release date is thus undecided for now.

I always get lots of suggestions when I attend toy exhibitions abroad. Some customers have expressed their concerns about the Vincent figure, because they feel that the size of the figure is too big, or they want to collect many editions but no have space to place them. We value the feedback and want to fulfil our customers’ desires, so we have started work on creating a mini-sized version!!
The quality is just the same as the big one but we also added new ideas on the cute hand-sized Vincent. Hopefully it will be completed and we will be able to release it by this year. Please look forward to it.
